How To Apply

Interested individuals should submit the following materials when applying for admission to The Venice Summer School on Science and Religion:

  • Complete application Download Application
  • Three-page CV (resume)
  • Three-page abstract of paper project (first draft of paper due 5 May 2010)
  • Names and email addresses of three academic references
  • Email all completed materials to info@vssr.info

All application materials are due 12 November 2009. Notification of acceptance will be 31 January 2010.

Scholarship Information

Scholarships will cover the cost of housing, meals, and registration. Scholarship awards will be based primarily upon the following:

  1. Quality of the abstract paper
  2. Likelihood that said paper will be published
  3. Potential impact that the candidate may have in advancing future science-and-religion scholarship

Award winners must secure their own transportation to and from the Venice Institute. The school directors encourage the participants’ home institutions to reimburse them for travel expenses.
